Interface Consruction Corp. Honored
for Business and Community Achievements



ST. LOUIS, Nov. 19, 2001 - Interface Construction Corp. has been honored for its contributions to St. Louis and its accomplishments in the St. Louis business community. The company was recognized at three separate events this month- the Second Annual Reinvest St. Louis Awards, the Second Annual Salute to Excellence in Business Luncheon and the St. Louis Minority Business Council's 2001 Excellence Awards.

Most recently, Interface was recognized with a Minority Business Entrepreneur (MBE) Excellence Award, which recognizes the exceptional accomplishments of selected MBEs and corporations. Held on Nov. 11 at the Missouri Historical Society, the annual awards are sponsored by the St. Louis Minority Business Council (SLMBC).

At the Second Annual Salute to Excellence in Business Luncheon, Interface was recognized as one of the Top 25 African American-owned businesses in St. Louis. Held on Nov. 8 at the Ritz-Carlton, the luncheon was sponsored by the St. Louis American Foundation, the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis and the St. Louis Regional Chamber Chamber and Growth Association.

Interface President Sam Hutchinson was honored as a leader who has invested his personal and professional strengths to grow the greater St. Louis community at the Second Annual Reinvest St. Louis Awards. Sponsored by Plaza Financial Advisors and the St. Louis Business Journal, the awards recognized 12 St. Louis businessmen and women who inspire others to volunteer and give to charity. A recognition breakfast was held on Nov. 2 at the Ritz-Carlton.
