8th Floor McDonnell Science IM Renal Wet Lab

Interface Construction was selected to be the Construction Manager for a complete gut demolition and interior renovation of 15,000 square foot for Internal Medicine Renal Wet Lab.
The scope of work included but was not limited to the gut renovation at McDonnell Science of the North End of the eighth floor into open lab space with research offices, new MEPFP systems, new mobile casework to match remainder of the floor and new finishes. The work also included project also included labs on the 7th floor, 718, 718 A&B, 719, 719A.
Interface Construction executed the Carpentry Package as well as the Casework Installation. The schedule for this project was a major factor with the coordination of Internal Medicine scheduled occupancy date. Interface was able to manage this schedule having several packages on this project. Communication with WUSM and the Architect/ Engineer was critical to success for this project, with this Interface was able to overcome several unforeseen conditions and able to expedite MEP items that could have effected the schedule.
