Interface Construction Corporation began construction on this 10,000 square foot building and surrounding site in December of 2020. We were proud to have led the Kansas City carpenters to build a longstanding facility that now promotes health and well-being for both them and their families.During construction we overcame unusual conditions while working on the sitework portion of the project such as the building’s sewer tie in point which was over 200 feet away, and the underground gas and electrical utility lines that ran parallel to the building at a depth of more than 10 feet below the grade.
Interface also added sidewalk and various gates around the project site to help the flow of both foot and vehicle traffic. These additions were required by Kansas City for right of way purposes and now serve as a standard for new pedestrian traffic in the area.
