CLIENT AND PROJECT:
WU Ortho Injury Clinic
Washington University School of Medicine
This job was a fast-paced project for Washington University School of Medicine to renovate for the completion of their Ortho Clinic in St. Charles, MO. Washington University’s Orthopedic Department needed to occupy the space by November 8; a 12-week construction schedule. This project converted a sears outlet building into a space for the Orthopedic clinic to operate.
Through early procurement and coordination with the equipment vendors allowed this project to be completed on time. New x-ray equipment had to be roughed in for coordinated with our electrical vendor.
The scope of work included new resilient tile flooring, sheet vinyl flooring, acoustical panel ceilings, painted gypsum board partitions, plastic laminate casework, solid surface counters, two x-ray rooms, exam rooms, nurses' station, reception area, check-in/check-out, break room, updated, mechanical, plumbing, electrical/lighting, voice and data systems, new automatic doors and a card reader system, all meeting WUSM/BJC standards. Exterior scope upgrades included new awnings, bollards, and signage.
Interface Team self-performed management & supervision, general clean-up, and carpentry work.
